There are many ways self-advocates (persons labelled with an intellectual or developmental disability) can become involved with Respecting Rights!

Attend our Quarterly Meetings:

Four times per year, Respecting Rights hosts virtual meetings for self-advocates from across Ontario, Canada. During these meetings, Respecting Rights provides updates on the work that we are doing and how self-advocates can become involved. This year at our March 2024 meeting, Respecting Rights hosted our first networking event where we invited other self-advocate groups from across the province to present on all of the great work that they are doing as well. The networking initiative was a success and Respecting Rights plans to make it an annual event!

Interested in attending the next Virtual Quarterly Meeting? The dates for the 2025 Quarterly Meetings are:

Friday March 21st from 2:00pm-3:30pm

Friday June 27th from 2:00pm-3:30pm
